A story about two sisters who have lived in the same room until the big sister gets her own room。
Susan Ballard,
𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 is such a sweet book。 Although I didn’t have a sister, I did have a fear of nighttime。 But it was my stuffies that kept me company, just like Kat introduced her sister Tina to her stuffie friends。 The illustrations are beautiful, with soft colors and kind little animal friends。 A wonderful story about courage and sisterly love。Thank you @booksparks and @KatherineSchwarzenegger for a spot on the #WRC2023 #inabookmood tour and a gifted book。
Zibby Owens,
The book is a tribute to the author's relationship with her sister。 When Kat moves into a "big girl" room, her little sister, Tina, is scared to go to bed。 So, Kat gives Tina all her stuffed animals to help her sleep。 But when a storm comes, Kat realizes she may need some comfort too。 This book and the relationship between the two girls in this book is based off the fact that even if you're the oldest sibling, sometimes getting a hug from your younger sibling is what you need to get through some The book is a tribute to the author's relationship with her sister。 When Kat moves into a "big girl" room, her little sister, Tina, is scared to go to bed。 So, Kat gives Tina all her stuffed animals to help her sleep。 But when a storm comes, Kat realizes she may need some comfort too。 This book and the relationship between the two girls in this book is based off the fact that even if you're the oldest sibling, sometimes getting a hug from your younger sibling is what you need to get through something scary。 This story is all about sisterhood, but it's also about the bond we can have with a sibling and the importance of having somebody you can turn to when you need extra help。To listen to my interview with the author, go to my podcast at:https://www。momsdonthavetimetoreadboo。。。 。。。more
Kelly,
A sweet book about sisters and their love for each other。 I remember moving my own daughters into separate rooms and the youngest would always wake up in the oldests room so I found this book to be incredibly relevant。 The illustrations were beautiful, bright and well done and the theme of the story is strong。 This belongs on the bookshelf of any sisters。 Thank you so much Penguins Kids for gifting me a copy to review。
Carla,
💭Thoughts: This is an adorable book! Reading it with my son brought back so many memories from when I was a child with my sister。 My son and I both really enjoyed the fun and engaging text。 The illustrations are beautiful。 Definitely a must have for sisters to read together!
